Obsessed. I was on the search for a decent "brick toast" or "sweet toast" type place and this one takes the cake (or, takes the toast?).

We were all super full from dinner already.. but I insisted we get dessert. So, we ended up here. We got the oreo lava bread?, and the other toast (I forgot the name, ugh!) with mochi in it. Everything was super good. Exactly what I was craving and more! We did get the mango bingsu, but it didn't come out, I suppose they missed our order but that was just fine as we were stuffed from the dessert already! Would definitely come back and try the bingsu but alas, we are from out of the country. When we walked in it was empty but we eat dinner early, but by the time we left there was a wait for tables!

My first experience with Sulmida was actually in Seoul, Korea. Compared to that experience, this branch is is kind of lacking but compared to other bingsu places in Vancouver/Richmond, I would probably rank this #1 with Snowy village being a very close second.

We got the Seasonal Watermelon bingsu to share amongst four of us. I love how fine and powdery the shaved ice is. Pricing and value wise, I still think Snowy Village is more worth for what you pay but i just really like the fineness of the ice here!

It's pretty hot outside, why not have some shaving ice to cool us down. So, we had tried their...

2 orders of Mango shaving ice in a cup...few big cube of fresh mango , few thin slices of almond on top of tons of unsweetened/ not cold whipped cream on layers of not puffy shaving ice with extremely sweet mango syrup on the bottom of cup..

Chocolate oreo shaving ice in cup... not much chopped oreo cookies inside.. put half cup of whipped cream on top with shaving ice.. its tasteless, my friend said, it's worst ever in her life

Strawberry shaving ice in a cup... sliced strawberries on top of a lot of whipped cream with shaving ice

We feel so disappointed with their services, didnt give us any tissue paper with our dessert, we need to go to till ask her for 4 times for it. The cashier was busy eating her own dessert at the kitchen.

Including our table, only 2 tables of customers around 4 pm. with this kind of services and food quality,  we wont go there again. They just cheap $7.50 each,  nothing else..

All I can say is that this place is incredible. On a recent trip to Vancouver, my wife and I stopped here on the last night of our stay. We both wanted something sweet other than Dairy Queen (no offense, DQ), so we ended up at Sulmida.  This place is much different than the typical ice cream place as there are unique and creative creations that look delicious.
After much debate, we decided to order the Chocolate Lava dessert, and we sure are glad we did. After a few minutes the dessert cake out, and I couldn't wait to take a bite. The dessert had a delicious taste that was not overly sweet (compared to what I expected). The bananas were delicious, the chocolate was the perfect sweetness, the ice cream was amazing, and I loved every bite.
I can promise that the next time we take a trip into British Columbia that we will be stopping back by here. Give this place a shot!

Honestly Snowy Village is much better. Ice texture is more smooth and milky. Mando is very sweet. Not sour. And amount of mango is more.

The bingsoo here was meh. I'm sorry.
